Led tape used for night vision of surveillance cameras.
The high intensity of the strip makes it possible to obtain much sharper and more precise images, and especially without shadow zones, than the LEDs integrated in the cameras.
The wavelength of 850 nanometers is not visible to the naked eye and gives a clear image under remote monitoring, even in total darkness.
Note that the LEDs are slightly visible at night.

The strip is supplied with 24V DC and can be cut in groups of 6 LEDs, or every 5 cm.

Not waterproof, it can only be used indoors, except kitchens and bathrooms.

Ribbon only	For the ribbon to work, you must have a minimum 24V 80W power supply . If you don't already have one, you need to add a power supply to the must-have accessories. Otherwise, you can purchase the ribbon on its own.

These headbands, the simplest, only have 2 threads (+ and -).
They can be connected directly to the 12 or 24V power supply. In this case, the wall switch in your home will be used to turn the lighting on and off.

With the exception of certain models (specified in the product sheet), LED strips can only have a maximum length of 5 meters.
Beyond this length, there would be a loss of light intensity after the first 5 meters.

To overcome this, it is possible to have several lengths of 5 meters (or less), one after the other, by connecting them in parallel to the power supply or to the controller.

Here is the wiring diagram of several bands with the use of a dimmer. The latter will act on all the ribbons, including those connected after the amplifier.

Precautions to be taken when handling and installing an led tape

The led strips can be bent lengthwise by describing a radius of at least 5 cm.
Under no circumstances can they be folded sideways.

If you have to make 90 ° angles, it is imperative to cut the tape into sections and connect them, either with a suitable angle connector, or better, by soldering flexible cable (flat ribbon) between the 2 sections.
